One of the most popular routes is a tour of some two hours to the wild and romantic Lake Klaussee, whose crystal-clear mountain waters are wonderfully refreshing.

The hike to the Rauchkofel, a popular viewing mountain, is a superb panorama trail. Let the natural surroundings and the scenery take effect on you and stop-off in one of the managed alpine inns and lodges. At the Kristallalm at 1600 metres, in the Almboden restaurant at 1560 metres, in the Baurschaft-Hütte at 1882 metres and in the Großklaushütte at 1484 metres, you have a hiking realm literally at your feet.
