Booking information for the Hotel Schachen in the Ahrntal valley at a glance

If travel cancellation insurance is not taken out, the following cancellation fees apply: up to 30 days before arrival no charge, 29 to 3 days before arrival 50 % and 2 days or less before arrival and in the event of early departure,  100 % of the booked package price.

On the day you are due to arrive your room is available from 14:00. On the day you are due to depart, please vacate your room by 11:00.

We offer special terms for our little guests. Children up to the age of 2 stay the night free of charge; children aged between 2 and 4 get a 90 % discount; children aged between 4 and 9 get a 50 % discount, while children aged 9 to 15 years old get a 30 % discount. These price reductions apply provided that children are staying in their parents’ room.

Your four-pawed friend is welcome here. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the dining hall or in the sauna area. A fee of 15.00 € per day is charged; this does not include feed. We do provide you the option of dining in a separate area, where you can take your dog with you.

Anyone over the age of 14 pays local taxes of 2.10 € per night, as a contribution to sustainable tourist development in the region. This fee is not included in the overall price of your stay and is collected when you get here.

You may settle your bill by debit or credit card.

For solo occupancy of a double room there is a 50 % surcharge on the price for that category. This is not applicable to single rooms.

For stays of less than three nights there is a small surcharge of 10 % per night and person.

We recommend taking our travel cancellation insurance to be covered in the event of cancellation, no-show or early departure.

Unfortunately no refunds are available should individual services not be availed of.

For your room reservation to be binding we request a deposit of 300.00 €, which can be conveniently settled using a credit card.
